The wheel has turned full circle, as one cycle ends a new one begins, the endless circle of life. Something has come to a natural conclusion, a completion, do not moan or bemoan it’s passing, but celebrate all that it held. The sense I get with this card is the space between what has passed and what is about to begin. The still point between the final exhalation and the inhalation to come. The twilight zone as night becomes day and day becomes night.
This full moon is bringing us and ending and offering a new beginning, which Jera fortifies, in fact shouts in agreement. The rune of the turning of the year and the cycle of harvests. The next cycle begins with the Equinox later in the month, so for now we are held in the space between breaths, and in this space we are asked to celebrate and give thanks for all that has been achieved. Yes there is shit happening all around us, sometimes it is hard to see the light when our heads have been pushed into a dark pit of doom. If only you would lift your heads for a moment, turn around and look ahead, you would see that this pit is what is being left behind. This is the something that is dead and done, that we must leave behind us now and embrace the unknown road ahead.
For now we are asked to sit in that space between breaths and revel in the harvest, look to all that has been created, all that has been achieve and give thanks and gratitude. Fill yourselves with the Joy that Wunjo brings, warm yourselves by the hearth fire and share the harvest. In this place of thanks and gratitude, we gather all that we need to embark upon the new cycle, that is opening up in front of us. Wunjo is teaching us how to feel again, how to honour and respect our felt intelligence. For the new path ahead can not be mapped with logic, the path can not be reasoned into being, we are required to feel our way and trust in the wisdom of our innate knowing.
Isa leads the way through stillness of thought and presence of mind, and with connection to our felt senses. With body, mind and spirit working in harmony, the road will become light in front us. Embrace the unknown and trust in the unknowable, a bright future lies ahead.
