This year has been steeped in some very deep shadow work for many, a need to heal deep trauma, bringing unhealthy repetition to a final conclusion. This reading signals coming to the end of this process, the final death if you like. It has been a process that has required our reconnection to and deepening of our psychic, intuitive abilities. The use of conscious cognitive methodologies have not been so helpful here.
The Queen of Bows and the rune Fehu indicate the rising sacred feminine and the power of woman hood. With highly developed and tuned intuitive connection and psychic insight, she will lead us into the flow and to ultimate fulfilment. This rising intuitive wave bringing us back in touch with an innate and more natural way of relating, is a direct result of the ancestral trauma clearing, that has been the focus of the energies around us for quite some time now. The imagery of 13 The Journey is of the ravens picking at the bones of the carcass, stripping it clean ready for the next stage of the journey. The work has been done, it is time now to grieve for what is past and let it go, death of the old and birth of the new. The turning of the the wheel, the cycles of change are marked here by both the death card and Eihwaz, the completion of a cycle. The soil has been tilled, the weeds have been pulled, nourishment has been given, time now to take a breath and rest, leave the land fallow before planting the seeds for new growth.
The last card, 7 of Bows together, with Isa, the rune of stillness, suggest that new growth is not ready yet. Whilst the end has come, the old way is no longer, the new is not yet ready to show itself evident. There is one last task before the way forward can be shown. Reflect and evaluate, most importantly re-evaluate. That which is no longer useful most be left behind, removed, released, set on the bonfire, but this is no simple task, it must be done with care and attention. If it is broken could it be mended, what value is there in this? Just because it is old does not make it out dated nor does it make it of greater value. Just because it is shiny and new does not mean that its is better or worse. Everything must be re-evaluated for its real worth and to do this we must draw upon the the strengths of the Queen of Bows and Freya or Fehu, we need to divine to find the truth we seek. This new way will have non of the trappings of the old and we must be selective in what we bring with us, only the purest of gold. In Alchemical terms the Gold is our refined selves, having been through the forge and cleared out our trauma, in more modern speak raising our frequencies to their highest vibrational potencies.
It is time now, all that we have been working towards, a new way lies straight ahead.
