Firstly I would like to apologise for my delay in writing up this month’s full moon reading, I did however draw the cards and runes on Friday at the time of the Moon’s fullness. A mixture of personal time constraints and a need to let this one percolate for a while has lead to its late publication.
At first I was a little confused by the positioning of the 4 & 3 of Arrows (swords), to be resting after the battle so to speak (4) before the battle was being felt (3) had me stumped for a moment, especially with the runes that fell with them. But clarity and illumination, Kenaz, came with the constraint of time, Nauthiz, bringing the awareness I needed. So This is the message I have for you.
We are currently in the deep healing hands of the Mirror, calling us all to look into the shadows and neglected parts of our selves, to heal the wounds that are festering there. This can be felt on a personal level but also culturally, globally and species wide. We as humanity are having to clean up our act, this is no mean feat. It requires courage, surrender, acceptance and compassion, there are many that are simply not ready or capable at this time. For those ill equipped there is a tendency to resist, project out, fight, argue and respond with fear and aggression. However the work will be done with or without our co-operation, it is how we collectively choose to navigate this that will determine the outcome. Mannaz tells us that this is about mankind stepping into its highest frequency and has been the flavour of the energy of this entire year’s cycle. We are in the middle of this raging storm of irrevocable change, all the selfishness, greed, hate and fear that has caused so much pain and destruction is being brought into the mirror for us to see and clear. This is a collective healing, working on ancestral and archetypal wounding, a necessary cleansing both on an individual, personal level and for all communities and their cultures.
Kenaz and the 4 of Arrows gives us an opportunity to rest and take a breath. Stop, take a look at how much has been achieved, or we might drown in the overwhelm of what still needs to be done. Be assured that each part of the process enables us to complete the next and that the work becomes easier and faster with each clearing. The 3 of Arrows reminds us of the need to grieve, to feel, to allow the process to be a process, each part is as important as the other. We spend so much time running from one drama to another, hardly breathing in between, suppressing our feelings to such a degree that we are numb and unaware of our senses. Not wanting to face our feelings, to sit in that uncomfortable space and allow their flowing and eventual passing, we lock them up in our bodies, causing disease, ill health and poverty of expression, or mass projection, judgement and accusation. Nauthiz ushers in the need for a new fire, a new way, a new heart and hearth. We can not move forward with a broken heart, we must face what we feel and not run in fear from it. We stay in the pain of separation as long as we are divorced from our feelings. Feelings are not just the emotions, the interpretations of sensations for the benefit of our cognition, they are our bodies responses to the energies that arise in and around it, our feelings are how we connect and relate to the world around and within us. With out them we are cut off and disconnected. this is the next stage of our deep healing process. To learn to feel freely, to reconnect with ourselves and our community. If you know your own heart and how you feel then you are protected from the projections of others not wanting to own their own.
