Full Moon Reading July 10th 2025

The hub around which this reading turns, is the eight of vessels. It’s rebirth time, our cup overfloweth. This is it. We’re on our path. It’s working. We’re moving forward, taking what we’ve learnt with us. It’s almost as if things are divinely channelled, and as we receive we’re pouring out and sharing. In the flow of our continuing river.

However, it’s all too easy to to let ourselves wallow, as we rest awhile in the pool that gathers before the next part of the journey. Some of us may have been stuck there for sometime, believing that we’d reached the sea. Stuck in the safe, rut of familiarity. In our enjoyment of the languid waters, the ability to swim and rest we have forgotten, that, this is a river that actually needs to flow. Now it is time to flow on, flow on to the next part of the journey.

The need rune Nautiz shows us that there is a bit of clearing and purifying to do, in order to set the wheel turning again. A blockage has dammed the out flow. Things need to be looked at. Things need to be let go of. Things need to be released. Things need to be acknowledged. Things need to be healed. Things need to be embraced. Look to what needs, need to be meet.

The Journey card, number 13, has stepped up to tell us the action that is required. There are things that have come to an end and the bones needs to be picked clean. There are things that have done their time, they’ve come to their end. Death is part of the natural cycle, very pertinent for me at the moment, as my dear friend and familiar, Cherry, died on the morning of this full moon. The ravens have been making their presence known a lot, throughout the day and this card is full of the ravens. Not only do they carry messages between the worlds, but also guide those that have met their end, including situations, habits, thoughts and feelings. In this reading they are here to tell us that there are things that we need to break free from, clear up, finish off, let go of, release, let die. It’s part of the cycle. Let it go. Let it go. Let it go. Let it go. Let it go.

Yes, this might be overwhelming, as Laguz warns, it’s a lot of stuff, and it’s not easy to let go of things that we’re emotionally attached to. There’s an image here of one of the ravens picking at a piece of sinew. There’s not really any flesh left on this stag’s head and bones, but there’s this bit of sinew, it’s really sticky, stretchy, elastic, and he’s pulling at it, it’s a little bit resistant. These last bits are hard to let go of, they are so deeply entrenched. They don’t want to let go. We’ve been doing a lot of clearing out and a lot of purifying and a lot of cleansing and a lot of facing stuff. There’s been a lot of change, a lot of surrender and release over the last few months, most of this year in fact. However, now, we’re at the real nitty, gritty bit . The deep, sinewy, hard stuff, the stuff that’s really cemented in, it’s time for it to go. We need to let it go. It’s dead already, we’re picking at the bones here, it’s not got any flesh left. It’s time to stop flogging that dead horse. This is the end of the end, so that the rebirth can start.

Laguz, also speaks of our deep connection and the capacity to tap into that, is our intuition. Allow yourselves to be guided by intuition, through this and through the next phases. We have arrived at the ultimate end, the final cleansing, the final clearing before we move on.

And we’re moving on into the two stones. The word is challenge, a time with no comfort zone. Stepping out requires getting to the nitty, gritty bones of the matter. All of our out warn habits, behaviours, perceptions and presumptions, that are so entrenched in us, that we don’t even see them, must be left behind, allowed to die. It’s so much easier to stay attached to those things than to recognise that we need to let go and step out, literally into the unknown, because that really is what I see in the two of stones. The challenge is stepping out of our comfort zone and stepping into the unknown completely. Letting go of all of our normal ways of having done things before.

What also strikes me about this card, with it’s battling hares, is that part of this new way, is stepping out of our competitive mindset. We are moving out of the world of competition. We are moving out of the world of combat and conflict. We are moving into the world of collaboration. Into the world of mutual support, of colleague and community, for the highest good of everyone and everything, everywhere.

Here, Mannaz guides us. This is all about balance, harmony and equality. The new world way is one of support and collaboration, not conflict and competition. However, this is a mindset, just like any other and each of us needs to do the work of changing it with in ourselves. It takes a paradigm shift for all of us. It doesn’t matter who you are, you may think that you’re already there and that you’re full of love and light, but really, the stuff that keeps us bound is so insidious and hardwired in all of us. We are all part of the old paradigm. We were born in it. We were bred in it. We were fed in it. We were schooled in it. Only those babies that have been born in the last 12 months, do not have that paradigm hardwired in them. Everybody else does, we all have this work to do and we are all feeling the effect of these energies. It’s big change time, it’s not hard, it’s not abusive, it’s not unkind, it’s just serious and it’s deep. That doesn’t mean we can’t play with it and have fun.

Dig deep my friends and you’ll find liberation. 😊

Much love, Louisa ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„
